These 3.5V mini Christmas replacement bulbs for incandescent string lights are made with a pinched base. This unique shape guarantees a secure fit in most every string light (regardless of whether the pinched base is required or not). Value pack includes 50 clear bulbs. 3.5 volt bulbs are typically used in strands of 35 or 70 lights and are common on multi-function light sets and other novelty light sets made for display in yards or windows.

Please be sure to reference the tag near the male plug on your light set to confirm both the voltage and the wattage for your string. Voltage, amperes, and wattage must all match to your light set.

How to determine the voltage required: Reference the tag near the plug on existing light set. If the voltage is not specifically stated for the individual bulbs, then take the total voltage for the light set and divide by the number of lights in one circuit. 3.5V bulbs are most often used in 35 light sets (one-way) and 70 light sets (two-way).

Determine the correct wattage: Reference the tag near the plug on existing light set. Look for wattage for the individual light bulbs.  If not available for the individual bulbs, then figure the wattage for the entire light set and divide by the number of bulbs in the strand to figure out the wattage for an individual replacement bulb. 

These 3.5V replacement bulbs are sold 'naked' which means that they do not come with any plastic husk. Please be sure to keep the plastic husk that the old bulbs are removed from so that these will incorporate into your string light. The unique pinched base shape to these bulbs allows them to set fully down inside of most any husk to make meaningful contact with the brass contacts inside.

    The order was processed immediately and was received quickly. We have not done the replacement yet, so cannot review the bulbs themselves.

    612Vermont was the only place we found an appropriate replacement in an appropriate amount and at a great price! We would certainly check with them first if the need arises.

    The ordering process was easy and the price was inline with other suppliers. The bulbs arrived when expected but they were only packed in a small padded envelope and 8 of the 50 were broken, fortunately I only need 40 and was able to finish the display. The reason for the 4 rating is due to the number of bulbs broken.

    Very pleased with this purchase. Was exactly what I needed at a fair price and reasonable shipping charge. If I had bought these in the little 5 packs at a store, I would have paid four times more than at 612 Vermont. Thanks!

    These are the only pinched base lights I could find. They worked great on many of my strings of lights. I talked with Derek about the problem on some of my strings and he offered some excellent suggestions. Excellent service.
