These 12V mini Christmas replacement bulbs for incandescent string lights are made with a pinched base. This unique shape guarantees a secure fit in most every string light (regardless of whether the pinched base is required or not). Value pack includes 20 clear bulbs. 12 volt bulbs are typically used in strands of 10 lights and are common on most treetoppers.
Please be sure to reference the tag near the male plug on your light set to confirm both the voltage and the wattage for your string. Voltage, amperes, and wattage must all match the following bulb specifications: 12 volt, 80 mA, 0.96 watt.
How to determine the voltage required: Reference the tag near the plug on existing light set. If the voltage is not specifically stated for the individual bulbs, then take the total voltage for the light set and divide by the number of lights in one circuit. 12V bulbs are most often used in 10 light sets (one-way)
Determine the correct wattage: Reference the tag near the plug on existing light set. Look for wattage of 0.96 and amperes of 80 mA (or 0.08 A) for the individual light bulbs. If either of these numbers match, then this is should be the correct bulb for your light set.
These 12V replacement bulbs are sold 'naked' which means that they do not come with any plastic husk. Please be sure to keep the plastic husk that the old bulbs are removed from so that these will incorporate into your string light. The unique pinched base shape to these bulbs allows them to set fully down inside of most any husk to make meaningful contact with the brass contacts inside.
